  • Tasty day! Began with a winding drive to Elafonisi beach stopping along the way for Beeswax honey and cheese in herbed oil. Sofia our guide treated us to local apples and oranges along the way. Elafonisi was a beach that almost feels like a gigantic warm swimming pool, with pink and metallic hued sand in the water. The cave was an invigorating hike replete with birds, bats, stalactites and a fascinating and tragic history. The Archontas restaurant featured Cretan mountain top cuisine, a sumptuous repost. Highly worth the experience! 🙂
